Yeah the reality is that this is nuanced. It depends on true intentions, motives, and depicted desires. Aka "knowing what to do".

To lend a helpful tip, you dont have to try as hard as him. But you should show toir enthusiasm, wits, motivation, and skill manuevering life. What men really want is a soft partner but that knows she can get her gears on in whatever task (including being a mother).

Think deep about what you both want, and plan->execute a compromise and act on it and be chill along the way.

Full text: i have a great boyfriend & have been helping him with his business but he wanted me to do the same business as him & make my own money

i’m happy & want to do it but in the back of my head i want to just support him & help him succeed more. he gets frustrated bc he says i want to continue being poor & not thrive on my own. i understand that but my dream is not to be a successful business owner but to support my husband in whatever he needs & raise a family.

am i wrong for being grateful but also iffy about starting my own business? i understand it could bring me stability but also im happy just supporting. im 29f
