It happened to a friend of mine. His wife's lover told her to ditch the kids and she did. My friend was getting $2400 of child support a month (wife was making a lot of money).

Have seen it several times in the workplace. Woman gets big promotion, decides to leave husband AND the kids sired by that husband, whom she now views as inferior.

It usually takes about three or four years before she has a nervous breakdown. The job gets on top of her. Sometimes, the infatuated manager who arranged her promotion is moved, and can no longer protect/spoon feed her. Infrequently, she simply comes to her senses, and realises that she has been the author of her own misfortune.

Not that common in anglosphere seeing as the court pretty much brands men as abusers preemptively. Outside of anglosphere while it's true that the court still sides with women the gynocentricism isn't as severe.

I have a college friend that I haven't really kept in touch with recently. I remember him in 2022 at a shared friend's wedding showing us this picture of a girl he messed around with with this infant. Everyone from the friends of the bride to myself said that he looked like him. As far as I know he went through the proper channels. I don't know if the girl had some post-pardum or what her situation was but at least on fa. He was a late bloomer maturity wise but he is in special education so I think that helped him out a little bit. I don't know the full story but from Facebook, him and his kid look happy and his parents still help him out.
