This is due the "women are wonderful" halo affect. Women are so wonderful, to point there is has been justify reason why a woman would be a serial killer.

If the genders were reversed. It would still be considered evil if a male serial killer killed bad women. Because Feminists would use the "not a perfect victim" or "victim blaming" argument.

But when men are the victims. Any character flaw is justification for killing them.
