I recently went on a first date with a woman; we had dinner and went bowling after. As I dropped her off, she thanked me for the date and said she had enjoyed herself. She didn't tell me to let her know when I got home, which is kind of a red flag for me, but I've also had some pretty successful dates where women neglected to do the same thing. When I got home, I texted her I made it back with a joke (just to get the conversation going) and also said I had a good time. After that, she once again thanked me for my time and said she enjoyed it—that's it. Is she waiting for me to initiate, or is this just a soft rejection?

And is it even worth further pursuing? I paid and planned for the date, so I think the least she could do is initiate interest or disinterest. On top of that, I've already been (and am currently) going on dates with other women who weren't shy to directly communicate interest.
