Those of you who may recognize my username know that I have a physical disability. Just mentioning it for the sake of context. Anyway, despite working hard to get employed I still have had no luck, I have a degree in Computer Engineering Tech and a CCNA but no experience. No matter what people say, I feel it's being held against me in terms of a job search since companies are in perpetual ass covering mode.

Furthermore, My father also lost his job in July and doesn't seem motivated to find a new one. His priorities are all fucked up and he'd rather spend 2 hours researching fantasy football than looking on a job board to submit a resume and cover letter I prepared for him on my own. So no longer am I trying to search just for myself, I have to search and apply for him as well.

To make matters even worse, my mom is also disabled from a stroke she suffered due to complications during a surgical procedure. She's paralyzed on one side and has aphasia. Most of her speech is jibberish and she can't speak in complete sentences. My father is tired of taking care of her quite frankly.

It sounds fucked up, but I really, really just wanna leave all this bullshit behind, Not only am I in a bad situation myself, but they're contributing to it by creating a toxic environment for me. I receive SSDI, but it's not nearly enough to live on my own I've been trying to gain a couple sources of income while job hunting and talking to vocational rehabilitation services that help those of us with disabilities, but that's a very slow process. Am I fucked up for wanting to abandon my family? While I know it's hard to relate, what would you guys do in my situation?
