When I see stuff like this, all it says to me is "My relationships were all bad, so I'm gonna assume everybody else's are too to make myself feel better".

It's just a "sour grapes" type of cope lol.

These women are projecting their own experiences onto the idea of all men. It's just an assumption, anecdotal, and essentially slander. And it won't help them get over that bitterness.

People like different things? Relationships take work, compromise, and acceptance.

I've remembered things about my partners, taken care of them, and been invested. According to these women, I'm a unicorn or 'one of the rare good ones'. Screw that. That would still be patronising.

These kinds of comments sound like the person is trying to convince themselves: I'm such a great person, guys. Why are men such losers and just use good women? Why am I single?

Can't possibly imagine..

I don't think a lot of these women understand that the reason a lot of times a man seems disinterested is because men are generally more detached from things than women are, which isn't a bad thing. In fact, it's probably a good thing. If both partners cared so deeply about certain topics, you'd probably get a lot of fighting. Hence the lesbian divorce rate.

Also, I don't doubt there's a bunch of lazy men out there, but again this is just not taking a step back and realizing that people in general are not super hard working by nature, and that there's a reason some guys are single. Like... if I went online anywhere and said, "Oh man. Every girl I meet, she's crazy. I swear," it'd be completely socially unacceptable lol, even if there's probably a way higher percentage of insane women who are single than insane women who aren't compared to the average woman.
