In my opinion, the best states for men to get legally married (if they choose that route); are states that offer: Covenant Marriage and a 50/50 custody upon divorce law.
Covenant Marriage, as I understand it, is basically fault divorce with a slight Christian slant.
And 50/50 custody laws make divorce more fair. Kentucky statistics show a 25% drop in divorce rates, after Kentucky passed a 50/50 custody law.
There is only one state, that offers both Covenant Marriage and 50/50 custody law, and that state is Arkansas. But other states offer either one or the other.
I figure add a pre-nup or post-nup on top of that, and you have probally the strongest protection with legal marriage in the country currently.
How is my reasoning? Thoughts? π€·
