I often see reddit posts saying that women take care of each other and men don't. That we are the cold and distant gender, the less compassionate one, and that we really can't be nurturing towards each other as men. I've experienced quite the opposite. As a formerly bicurious man who's now completely gay, I tried dating women and having sexual relationships with them. Women were always the first to refuse to cuddle with me after sex, give me the silent treatment, invalidate me and ghost me after an emotional investment.

Gay men, the vast majority of the time, treated me the exact opposite. I had a boyfriend back in the day who always stayed up late with me to talk, I could share absolutely anything with him. I almost never had a gay man turn me down for cuddles, even if he was only at my apartment for a one-night stand. We loved each other, and I love men. I never got told to "not cry", "tough it out" or "take it like a man" by my boyfriend. We both worked, pitched in and contributed. I'm not going into details, but we had a better sex life than most straight couples, to say the least.

There is truly a brotherhood between men. All the very worst of misandry I experienced was almost always from women. Men really do care about each other. All most women care about is money. Just look at the military and motorcycle clubs. Since when is there EVER a platonic brotherhood like that with women. As a result, my physical and emotional attraction went completely in the toilet to women by the time I was in my mid-twenties. Let's hear everyone else's stories, who else has had wonderful experiences with men like this!
