No matter what people say, I think masculinity can be really beautiful. And sometimes I feel like society doesn't show this enough.

Take for example the role of a father, who loves his children, does everything for them, and takes care of his family.

Or think of all the men who do dirty and dangerous jobs, just so we all can have water, electricity and a roof over our heads.

Of course, also firefighters and policemen who risk their lives to protect others, and doctors and surgeons who save lives too.

But masculinity is not only about muscles and risks. Don't forget all the engineers and scientists who think hard to make our lives better and safer.

And even just ordinary men, who are in the right place at the right time and do the right thing.

Soon, it will be International Men's Day. Maybe it's just me, but I sometimes feel like there is too much negativity and men-bashing around us, like if men were only bad.

I'm aware that not all men do only good things, but it would be great if we could see some positivity too - and give a bit of attention to the great things men do every day. Not to feel good about myself as a man. But to show respect and remind everyone how beautiful masculinity can actually be, whatever your definition of it is.

What do you think?

Hopefully my attempt to spread a bit of positivity won't come accross as weird (English is not my first language)... Have a great day!
