Hi, friends,
I'm really new to The Red Pill, I've been looking at the subreddit for about a month, on and off. I'm doing the 30 day fitness challenge, and I've read most of the sidebar. Admittedly, I struggled to read things that felt ridiculously long and/or didn't pertain to me because of my age or where I'm at.
I'm frustrated with reading the subreddit because most of the posts pertain to the people that clearly already have experience with dealing with girls. You're either in a relationship, juggling many plates, dealing with divorce, etc. Very little of those posts apply to me because I'm not even at that point to deal with those issues.
My main issue right now is that I can't even approach a girl without being awkward and I never have the confidence to say hi or anything. If I end up in a conversation with a girl that I might be interested in, I can't keep a conversation going for the life of me. I can't do small talk, it seems fucking stupid to me, and maybe that's where my fault lies, but I struggle with it.
I feel pretty comfortable saying that this is one of the biggest things holding me back. I've been lifting for years and, at a minimum, I'm in good shape. I have a good diet and workout six times a week. I'm not necessarily socially awkward, I have plenty of friends, and if I've known a person for longer than a month, I have no problem talking to them.
However, I can't get to that stage without having my hand held by a guy friend to meet somebody, and not only will that not always be available to me, it already probably looks bad. My friend once told me that the best way to make friends is alone because people won't be able to associate you as the thing 2 between you and your friend.
Can I get some articles or posts like this? Maybe a different subreddit from /r/theredpill, based on the stage that I'm at?
