That only women are capable of empathy.
They are the kinder and more caring gender. Nope! They just code their malice differently than men.
And of course there’s the stance that only women can be victims of rape and violence.

My personal favorite: only women carry a mental load when it comes to households and families.

That girls and women used to lag behind in education, at least in the western countries, such as the United States.

There are also reports that they were discriminated against and treated badly in schools

This has never really been the case, girls have always gotten better grades for the last 100+ years.

Where boys did well was on standardized testing, rather than making the classroom environment more friendly to the boys and remove the biases, it was determined that these "tests are biased against girls" or that girls don't do as well on them due to "confidence".

Obviously, this makes zero sense since girls have always done better on standardized Reading tests and not to mention they've been more likely to more advanced coursework and get better grades, thereby being better prepared.

The standardized tests have further been modified to help girls, especially the SAT. The Math portion has been dumbed down over the years, a new Writing/Language section was introduced to boost girls' scores.

Absolutely nothing has been done to improve boys' reading and school performance and where they did well has been further sabotaged.

What annoys me is how teachers take out their frustation on young boys, who are literal vulnerable children, by making them seem as some sort of villain who are getting some privilege from the nefarious patriarchy.

It's just highly abhorrent and dehumanizing.

The idea that all masculinised fields are inherently hostile towards women. The underlying assumption behind that idea is: all men are evil misogynists, so if the male sex has the balance of power, women will be subjugated.

Some myths that come to mind;

Women couldn’t vote prior to 1920.

Women couldn’t bank prior to the 1970s

Women were not allowed to work in early U.S. history.

Wives were men’s legal property.

The wage gap compares equal work.

1 in 4 college women are raped.

Men initiate the vast majority of domestic violence. (Women initiate more).

The idea that laws that discriminate against men are somehow about equality.
