My daughter has a Christmas Carol event today with her class. It takes place in a public place in our city.

I took my daughter shopping last weekend for the outfit she needed and provided it to her mom last exchange. I enjoy taking my daughter shopping, I always buy all of her school clothes, backpack, everything she needs.

Also her mom told me she didn't have time to take her shopping.

This past Wednesday I asked her mom if I could attend the event as our situation is very high conflict. I had my daughter over Wednesday evening during my custody times.

Her mom told me I could but in return I had to exchange our daughter at my ex‘s residence.

We are court ordered to exchange at our local police department. Due to my ex’s recent behavior I didn’t feel comfortable exchanging at her residence. There’s just a ton of issues.l and some safety concerns.

My ex got upset and told me I’m a horrible parent and then told me I wasn’t allowed anywhere near her or our daughter during the school/public event today.

I can understand it’s her court ordered time so if she says I can’t say hi or see my daughter during the event then it is what it is.

I would still like to attend as I had been helping my daughter memorize the Christmas carols and we went on a father daughter shopping trip to get all of the things she needed for her outfit.

Should I still attend or would it be best to skip this one?

I know if I attend she’ll record me and I worry about next time we go to court she alleges I interfered with her parenting time
