18M freshman in college. Had a very sheltered and strict upbringing so just started getting anywhere with women when I got to college and have freedom now.

I matched with this super cute girl on hinge from NYC (I go to school in NJ about an hour away, and am also from NJ a similar distance to the city).

Should I go to the city to meet her? I feel like that’s not really taking the lead because idk what to do in NYC with a girl. It’s too cold to walk and I also don’t have a lot of money to spend on her, so I’m not sure what to do.

I could ask her to come to NJ and explore my university and the town, where I’d feel super comfortable taking the lead, but I can’t access my university housing until the end of January. I know I’m getting ahead of myself but what should I do if things escalate considering I don’t have a car and can’t take her to my folks place?
