Last Thursday my LTR (16 months) and I decided to stay in and drink/watch a movie at her apartment. We're both students but I live about 30 minutes away from her and driving to her apartment takes a lot of resources (time, energy, opportunity cost gas etc). While we were mixing the drinks my LTR brought up some news story she heard and gave her opinion on it. This lead us to having a conversation about our opinions on the story. As the discussion went our conversation got heated and my LTR got upset and gave me the cold shoulder. We spent the next thirty minutes in complete silences with both of us ignoring each other. After thirty minutes of awkward silences and I told her "I don't want my entire night ruined over a political conversation" and put my arm around her. Although she didn't resist my advances, she was distant/cold the rest of the night. I would've just gone home but I already had a couple of drinks at that point and didn't want to risk getting a DUI. Also while I do have a income getting an uber/taxi/lyft would've been half my spending money for the week and my car still would've been at her apartment. After not getting any reciprocation for my advances I just gave up and the rest of the night was spent in silence with us not talking/acknowledging each other. When I woke up in the morning I just left without saying goodbye and went radio silent all day Friday. Saturday morning she texted me asking to hangout later that day and ignored the entire fight on Thursday. I just let it go without bringing the issue up again.

My question is should I have brought it up and talked about it? I don't want to reward bad behavior (she was clearly being an asshole and ruined my night) but I don't want to be immature either by dragging up the past. I'm really unsure if I acted maturely by not bringing up a pointless fight or acted like a beta by not punishing her for clearly bad behavior. Thoughts?
