New account, but I have been lurking for some time and read a fair chunk of the sidebar. It's been helpful, but need to ask whether even the "perfect" LTR is tenable.
My background: 28, decent shape, 6', clear >$200k/annum and live in a cool/big US city. I've never taken myself too seriously and have managed to do fun things while being successful in most stages of life. (Athlete in HS/college, etc)
I am actually in a great 5+ year relationship. I have no doubts about her loyalty and think she would be a great mother. She's my best friend.
The issue is that for the last year or so, I've been consistently feeling the need to fuck new girls. I met my gf was I was fairly young, and didn't take advantage of all of the girls that were approaching me before that. Gf's doesn't seem to want sex as often as me, and even if she did I'm also craving newness.
How do I reconcile the desire for the social aspects of the traditional relationship with the excitement of messing around? I will want a family eventually.
You'll have to take me at my word that GF is a unicorn with low partner count. She's high value in her own right outside of being attractive.
