Moving back to my 5yo in Florida with a $21/hour job (no benefits), or accepting a full time corporate job at amazon (total compensation $75k in the first year plus benefits)? I might be able to transfer to Florida within 12-18 months.

Amazon. While the dad in you wants to see your child right away, financial it may not be good in the long run. Rent, food , gas , that's the basic. What if something happens , what's that emergency money looking like. With Amazon they may say 12-18 months. My job said the same. I worked hard , head low and change my schedule at 8 months. They say 12-18, call your shot when you think it's time. 75k and then travel in between. Open an airline account. Rack up points. Save

Oh and the $21 job that I currently have is PT only, in IT help desk L1. I might get a second job as a temporary worker in AI annotation for Microsoft that pays $20 per hour (minimal benefits according to the recruiter).
