It's impossible to read through left-leaning political discussion threads without coming across casual male bodyshaming used as an invalidation tool. After Stephen Miller supposedly being angry for being 4'11'' according to AOC, Bovino being a nazi as a result of him being 5'4'', Trump supposedly having a micropenis and wearing shoe inserts while actually being 5'9'' (cause there's no way a morally corrupt man is tall, right?!), now it's the turn of J.D. Vance compensating for his alleged micropenis with a 40-car motorcade in milan. Not to mention those degenerates who dare to live in their "mom's basement" (/s), which is not body shaming strictly speaking, but still shaming towards men who have supposedly failed to live up to male gender expectations.

The attempt at rationalizing it is actually the worst part, as if it were possible to use an intrinsic characteristic as an insult to someone (hence fundamentally assigning it a negative connotation) without every other individual sharing that characteristic being shamed for it as well.

I'm obviously not that familiar with right wing political discussion, but from what I've seen this phenomenon is exclusive to progressive left enviroments, isn't it? No wonder more and more young men are turning right or are refusing to turn left.
