So I'm sure this is my own wit failing me, but a girl that sits behind me at work today pulled a shit test but all of my answers would've been borderline inappropriate at work.

The girl had a lot of work to do, so before I left I said "you need any help before I go?"

Her answer was "no. you can leave." edit: with a smirk and an eyebrow up, very flirty and daring me to play ball.

EDIT: for reference, my response was slow to come out, but I just said "Woww." and raised my eyebrows like I've just seen someone do something embarassing. Then I just walked out without responding further. But I wonder if that was a bit like showing I was getting ruffled?

Normally my answer would be "wow, you like to be in charge huh. that could make it hard to be friends." in a flirty way. Or even just "That's cute." with an amused laugh, and then leave/ignore.

But I was worried those would be "inappropriate" for a work friendship. Obviously this girl is interested in me to some degree, but I'm not really into her so what's a socially/work appropriate response here?
