Doesn't matter as much in the end. Ya you can rack up some bodies and get a lot of attention but in the end, the market will still be defined by what it is, and the next guy will be seen for the same things you are or better. Sure, if you're short and ugly, you just want to get in the game, but the game is not all it's cracked up to be after a while and in the end anyway.

Ironic, if women are talking about men getting away with stuff in terms of interrelationship dynamics, exactly who is allowing them to get away with stuff?

I understand hypergamy and its inherent nature, but we've taken it too far, it's time to dial that back to something more realistic and functional for society, we're not all simply animals in the wild. Responding and acting purely on our biological urges was a long time ago, we need to control some of that to functional and be responsible, most men do so.
