Despite your condescension, lifting does increase well-being, and if you'd ever done a few good sets of isolated weight exercises in your life you'd realize that. The science says exercise helps decrease depression and improve motivation, which I'm sure are both things that could have helped this young man, he could have joined a club of some kind at his local gym too to help alleviate the loneliness. There's no need to be an asshole about it.

Wrong. This guy is a "nice guy" that has never held hands with a woman. TRP teaches that men don't need to keep your life so focused on women as the most important thing ever in the history of everything. BP teaches that.

I hope this will spark some proper debate about the mental wellbeing of men (and no, lifting isn't a fix all despite what TRP would like to think).

This is a consequence of the times: increasingly entitled women and the idiots who enable them (PUAs and beta providers)

Guy himself was a try hard who tried way too hard to get laid and got caught up in it.

I feel bad for him because he could have been helped with the right guidance.

I dont feel much for his victims because they represent current society and its lack of genuine human interactions.

Problem is there are lots of guys out there like that (often encouraged by PUA material, shitty "be the alpha" mentality)

Sadly this is likely to be spun by the media and crazed feminists as, at best, a poor deranged loser, at worse as "all men are dangerous/inferior/beta/whatever shame of the day is"

There were other shootings before, society could have learned from them, nothing changed... no surprise there. I expect there will be more and more of this in the future.
