When I was a defenseless toddler I was abused by a female babysitter. She was acting all nice when my Mom was dropping me off, gave me a granola bar while I watched Barney in her living room, but the second my Mom left, she would stop into the living room, aggressively pick me up by my arm and drag me down the stairs into her basement. It was a pitch back room and she threw me in there and kept me there the entire time. I remember the terror I felt. Screaming at the top of my lungs and crying while hiding behind objects I couldn't see.

Eventually she came back down, stomped back over, grabbed me and dragged me up the stairs and threw me back in front of the TV. Lord knows what BS she must have told my Mom about why I was crying. But this babysitter was a woman, so she was trusted more by default. Surely a woman couldn't hurt a little boy like me. My Mom took me back to her one more time where the same thing happened again, but this time she could tell something was seriously wrong. She never took me back.

Men are not the ones drinking, drugs, and having sex with multiple people while the baby is being created.

Lets start even before the birth .

The development of said human. Being fucked up because of substances and alcohol.

ok, so I agree with her about what she said - hell I don't even let anyone watch my dog.

but just to set one thing clear, when it comes to child abuse - yes women abuse in more total cases,
however - women are also the majority of caregivers and most of the abuse done by women is neglect.
when it comes to sexual abuse and violence, men are still leading in those categories.

I'm not saying that to blame men, or apologize for women or say women are less bad.
neglect is also awful! and women can also be extremely violent!

I just think when we open this topic and when we spit truth, we need to tell the whole story and these parts belong to it. I'm just adding context.
