What's the redpill stance on telling people you failed an exam?

There's a scene in Game of Thrones season 1 between Tywin and Jamie about the opinions of sheep are meaningless unless they are having a reaction based on an absolute fact.

Don't bring up your bad grades on your own, (unless it's your parents) there's no reason to. However, when you do have to discuss it, it's probably best to frame it as you understand you fucked up. No one wants to hear excuses, or flimsy promises to yourself. The vaguer you speak, the more likely that no one will believe you.

Example: "I'm going to really study harder next semester!" Yeah you and every other student.

If you're retaking the course immediately start studying for it NOW. Express that. Start re-reading the textbook, your notes, whatever. Yes it sucks but you need to. You failed. The majority of students fail from fucking up, not from a lack of intelligence. So that is your punishment. Studying during the break.

That's how you "red pill" it. Admit your fault, course correct now, and keep moving.

People are way less likely to roll their eyes when you say "I've already started re-reading, I can't make the same mistake twice."

Are people asking you directly if you failed?

If not, don't go out of the way to tell others you failed. Why would you purposefully do that?

What kind of an exam? Have you been telling everyone about this exam? I mean, is it the MCAT or GMAT, etc, where everyone knows you took it and are expecting your scores? Or is it something like a final?

I don't think someone will think you are stupid because you didn't do well on a test... That person would be stupid.

Also, what is your definition of people in your question? Is it your close friends or family, classmates, or a bigger circle? Are people asking?

You can discern who you tell, and you can just say, "I didn't do as well as I would have liked." Can you retake this exam? If so, "I didn't do as well as I would have liked, and I'm going to retake it and own it".

If someone gives you shit or makes fun of you, they are honestly a child and have something wrong with their mind where they need to see that you did worse than them for them to feel better about themselves. Make sure these aren't your friends.

Don't fail exams. Tell people if the shame helps you not fuck up.
