For context, I’m very direct in my cold approaches. I walk up to women and say something along the lines of “hey I just thought you were really cute so I wanted to say hi.” I’ve gotten a largely positive response from this line, even from the women who turn out to have boyfriends or clearly aren’t interested. If the convo goes well, I say I’m in a rush and need to go, but that we need to get drinks sometime. If she says yes, I always give my number. I never ask for hers.

Im still fairly new to cold approach. I’ve approached about 30 women over the last 2 weeks. Of those 30, about 7 agreed to go on a date with me during our initial interaction. One date already happened last week, but I went in for the kiss at the end and she shot me down, so I’m going no contact. The only way we’ll ever see each other again is if she reaches out first. I got another date this Wednesday with an absolute babe, we’ll see how that goes.

That said, the other 5 seemed interested in our conversations and agreed to go on a date. So I gave them my number. Some ended up calling me right there on the spot just so I would have their number saved in my phone, which they obviously didn’t have to do. Despite this, in the cases where I didnt have their number saved in my phone, some never reached out. In the cases where I did have their number saved in my phone, when I texted them, they left me on read.

So I’m just curious if any of you have gotten any texts from out of the blue from women who you for sure thought you would never hear from again? And I’m not talking about exes or women you’ve already hooked up with or gone on dates with. I’m talking about the women who agreed to go on a date but the date never happened because she left you on read/never reached out.
