I think that when we look at the communications of an organization like "Human Rights for Women," we have to take into account that it explicitly states its goal is to advocate for women's rights within the context of UN human rights.

Therefore, it's not really surprising that this organization systematically highlights statistics or comments that emphasize the need for more attention to women's human rights.

In fact, the problem in this rather aggressive "gendered" lobbying battle that the fight for human rights has become is not that there are organizations that exclusively promote women's rights at this level (UN, etc.), but that there is nothing equivalent in terms of an organization, an influential lobbying center, that would do equivalent work for men's human rights (Human Rights for Men).

It's easy to see why "Human Rights for Men" organizations with this level of influence struggle to exist: any organization that explicitly positions itself in defense of men's human rights would, of course, be immediately accused of misogyny and discrimination, etc. As it would be seen by pro feminist organisations as a direct thread to the status of women for their permanent claims of unique victimhood.

This is yet another reason to fight for the establishment of a "human rights for men" organization powerful enough to lobby effectively without being hindered by criticism from feminist circles.

We are men. We matter as much to them as the paper they wipe their asses with. All world governments, especially in South America are adopting this stance hard. We are exploitable to them. Where I lay my head I have to watch out for many a thing and having modern feminism take over it makes our already dangerous existence worse.
