I usually like to do a 2 in 1 first date..

Coffeee---> Beach Walk

Happy Hour----> Rooftop bar

Ice Cream ----> Park picnic

Movies ----> Tiki Bar

Just some quick examples... Date should be no shorter then 2 hours and can be as long ad you want.

Traveling to different locations together creates a nice together vibe and will make it feel like you've had alot of experiences in a short time..

I personally have a strict no dinner dates for first date, they are reserved for someone I am already sleeping with.

Anyway, I will only do something on a date that I would do anyway. A date is me introducing a woman into my reality, they can get a sample of me and see if they like it. If not... off they fuck, I don't buy into this "extravagant things to impress a woman".

So anyway for me, first dates will be things like:

Cocktail bar or lounge, ideally rooftop terrace

Couple of decent bars I know, that are OK during the day

Somewhere for coffee or cold drink

Walk and drink (actually had a few women suggest this, guess its a nice low stakes investment).

Or... if there is some sort of local event on, I will suggest meeting up at that.

So basically anything I would do anyway. They are just along for the ride.
