Disclaimer: It's very late and I'm tired so these ramblings might not make any sense. Bear with me.

TRP teaches us to be bold in our actions, yet it also teaches us that a life of moderation is likely what's best. It also teaches us to remain stoic and somewhat unmoving.

My question is, how does one employ all of these characteristics at once? To me it seems logically impossible to be bold, yet live a life of moderation, while also being stoic. I see boldness as being at one end of the spectrum, while stoicism is at the opposite end. Boldness = liveliness, dangerousness; stoicism = calmness, stability. And on top of that, how can you be bold yet moderate? To be moderate is essentially to not step outside your comfort zone; to be bold is to be constantly outside of your comfort zone.

I hope this made at least a smidgeon of sense. If it did, what do you guys think? Is it possible to live boldly as well as moderately and stoically at the same time? If so, can you give me an example/explain how?
