So I recently came to the conclusion that I don’t really have a best friend, and the truth of that is a little disappointing. The guy I used to refer to as my best friend only had that title due to the time investment; we’ve been tight since middle school. However, I can now see he’s no different from my other friends. They all have some natural red pill to them, but I don’t think any of them are actually red pill aware. However, they’re very much aware of how beta I am, and it’s becoming a problem.

The more I dive into TRP, the more I start noticing about my friends; how they deceptively shit test me all the time, and how I fail the tests long before I realize they’ve taken place. I hope to remedy that problem on my journey, but that’s not the topic at hand. The problem I’m seeing is with having friends that already have me tucked away nicely in my cozy little beta box.

I’ve read plenty of material that says people won’t react well when you start to stand up for yourself if they’re not used to it. They don’t want to see you succeed, especially if you’re very submissive like myself. They want to keep you where you’re most beneficial for them. And if the majority of my old friends are going to react that way as I start implementing more RP tools in my life (I can already see it whenever I address shit that bothers me, which I’ve only recently started doing), it seems like a good idea to just find new friends.

I would rather wait until I’m better off before trying to meet new people, but I was wondering what the red pill take is on men’s groups, or online circles. I know better than to bring up TRP in my friend circle, but it also sucks to have no one to talk to about it. It’s basically becoming my religion, so it’s always at the front of my mind. As well, I’ve began embracing another RP principle which is to keep shit to yourself. I don’t feel like any of my current friends are the type I should vent to anymore, as they tend to use things against me, or immediately take a ‘master to the student’ tone (which I’m fine with if the person speaking actually has something to teach).

Any recommendations on groups I could join, or communities to follow? How does one even go about joining a men’s group? Any information is appreciated.
