I came upon this old post on TwoX and found it interesting...This female admits she is attracted to emotionally unstable men. Then there are a few comments in the thread from females agreeing that they too find emotionally unstable men attractive. But TRP preaches stoicism and frame control....Isn't this contradictory to TRP theories principles? I copied and pasted the post below.

How do I stop falling for emotionally unstable, troubled men?
I guess subconsciously I equate the angst and drama with passion and love. I've met a lot of awesome guys and loved being around them and wished so badly that I could have romantic feelings for them because they'd actually be good for me. But it always feels like something's missing. But throw me in a room with an emotionally damaged basket case and it's on.
I recently let go one of the greatest guys/human beings I've ever met, who was super into me. I mean this is a guy that almost any woman would be lucky to have, myself included. And the whole time I was letting him down, I was mad at myself for it. Because I really, really wanted to feel something for him but I couldn't. Like the rational side of me was saying "He is everything you've ever wanted in a guy" but the nasty, awful side was saying "Too stable and good." Instead I fell hard for his unstable jerk of a friend, and you can guess how that went. 4 months later and I'm still licking my wounds.
I hate being that stereotypical female, but can't help it. I mean is this something you grow out of?
