like men usually forgive/forget or avoid people pissing them off. women will hold grudges for MONTHS or YEARS. "hell hath no fury like a woman hath scorned!"

So my female roomate is STILL mad that I burned the pancakes DESPITE cleaning it up yesterday. I apologized (however that put kerosine on the fire). This holding grudges behavior is not unusual my mexican neighor a few months ago got a wee bit drunk at a party and played his music too loud. of course he was confronted than the next day apologized for being a nuisance crying. (I learned he was going through shit) . I was chill with him and forgave him. however my roomate is STILL furious with him for what happened last xmas and ACTIVELY talks shit about him.

its like my roomate wants to PUNISH this man rather than letting him correct his mistake for dare playing his music a wee bit too loud at a holiday party. its almost as if you apologize you make things WORSE
