Recently I had my unemployment claim finally get pushed through. Along with all the other extensions and temporary additions to the normal weekly "benefit", it comes out to a decent chunk of change. It still would've fallen way short of paying for the kind of life I had just five years ago, but still. Around where I live and surrounded by the people I am, I'm everyone's best friend right now. You know, the best friend to all those people that wouldn't let me borrow five dollars for ten minutes without tacking on 30% interest or my childhood baseball card collection as collateral. Yeah, those people.

They say that money changes people, but from where I'm sitting, it changes how everyone else TREATS you; I'm not doing anything differently except watching people devolve into what they were already- vile and disgusting, opportunistic vultures. Im trying not to feel this burning hatred for them and their goldfish-like attention span and existential vision for anything beyond themselves.

Here's something I've noticed though....women are, by far, the worst of the offenders of crimes against decency. That's my observation. I've given this woman, who's cheating on her husband with god knows how many people (I'm not one of them), over a grand this week alone. she's stolen hers and her husband's stimulus check out from under him just to blow in a machine at the casino. I watched her freak out on him through voice to text, asking him what that 1000 was for that he took out of their account two days prior. It was to pay off their fucking loan on the vehicle they share. These disgusting creatures don't even offer sex in exchange for raping your bank account into oblivion; they just feel entitled to everything because they're them I guess. They're them and I can hardly stomach any of this anymore. I gave you one example of what I've seen recently.... and that's not even the worst of it.
