By blaming white people for this act committed by a black man, she is saying that this black man had no choice in committing this act. She takes away his agency to make a decision, just as feminists do for every entity they defend. It's impossible that this could have been something a single person, of their own accord, decided to do.

It's a leftist thing. Agents of marginalized groups (unless they are thoroughly at odds ideologically) tend to gang up on "the man" and having each others' backs. Feminists blame men, minorites blame whites (I'm reverse-overgeneralizing here), and the left blames the rich; with all of them having the affluent white male as a common enemy against whom they can unite.

The Left is the most active in that regard because it usually hopes being able to coopt minority movements into their framework gives them the power to actually gain leverage in the political process (blacks could usually care less about the "plight" of women, while feminists tend to look down on the underprivileged minorities that usually are a lot more macho than WASP culture).

That said, she probably thought it inconceivable that that dude could rape her on his own since HE was the victim in her perception and of course victims can NEVER be perpetrators themselves. Doublethink at its finest.
