I would have expected the same results. The class conflict, power relation concept embodied in the phrase and its use is consistent with Frankfurt School rhetoric so I would not be surprised to find that it was developed by one of these folks or one of the marxist feminists directly influenced by them.

You might want to look into another phrase: "a woman's prerogative." "Prerogative" is much the same as "privilege."

One of the most cited pieces (the "invisible backpack" paper) was written in 1989. Anecdotally, I didn't hear the term much until the mid '00s amongst the feminists I knew. The phrase would've first been peddled from the top of course. And repeated over and over by the stooges, (feminists) who unwittingly do the bidding for the elite. All of feminism is simply a money swindle. Aren't there loads of laws like VAWA and Title IX? Aren't there tons of private enterprises for sensitivity training and the like? All that money goes to the top. Communism at it's finest. Make a law or movement out of fiction and charge everyone through taxes and increased product cost to enforce it.
