So today my LTR turned to me and said "I'm not happy with you at the moment, you never text me enough". She got quite upset as well.

Now I work away a lot. Perhaps 2 weeks at a time then home for a week or so. I usually call her every couple of days but I just don't text if I don't have anything to say.

She wants me to make a much larger effort to at least text good morning or something when I'm thinking of her. I've always let her text me first (unless I have something specific I need to say), never double text etc.

My first response was to say I've been busy but she started the conversation by asking how's work been and I said really slow and boring.

I'm really struggling to change my ways from plate mentality. Should I just make the effort??
