British man raped at Germany's Oktoberfest, a story that was also posted in this subreddit and discussed, was marked as "Not Appropriate Subreddit" and delisted in /r/worldnews, making it no longer viewable unless you have the link. It was posted just hours ago and was quickly on the rise to the top. But, fair enough, maybe they don't allow crimes like rape to be considered "world news" worthy.

Oh wait... they do, but only when it targets women.

I could list more, but I think 11 is enough. You can search for more examples if you'd like. Apparently the rape of men isn't considered to be as important as the rape of women by one of Reddit's most popular default subreddits. Imagine that. We can speculate as to why the story relating to the man being raped was delisted while stories relating to women being raped aren't, if we want. Maybe they have an agenda? Maybe they are just plain terrible mods? Whatever the reason, I feel it matters due to their popularity and default subreddit status. Is this how Reddit wants to present itself? As a site that promotes those who promote double standards against men?
