When the topic of conversation turns to false accusation I've found that some people can be extremely thick, and this is the best way I've found to communicate the true gravity:

A false rape accusation is tantamount to attempted, repeated gang rape, and false imprisonment; if convicted, those crimes are no longer merely attempted, they are state sponsored.
