Horrible. And what's sad is that this is not an issue that can be solved easily or quickly... who knows how many decades it will be, if ever, when homosexuals will feel safe in the Muslim world.

A Western campaign for gay rights in Iraq would probably be about as successful as holding handing out gay rights literature outside of a fundamentalist church in Mississippi... likely to do more harm than good.
