I just looked at what I picked up from ex, it was her birthday gift which was 2 weeks ago, and both tickets to her favorite band that i got her. (she was only supposed to give me 60 bucks i lent her a while ago.. gave me a small shoebox of stuff, didn't bother to open it...also she just left it outside her door, didn't want to "see" me)

now I have 3 tickets to this show. she will most certainly blame me for her not being able to go (even though i told her to keep em cause what am i gonna do with em??) she will absolutely bring this up in the future when i run into her.

my idea is to just sell them and if she bitches about it just say "i said you could have em you're the one that got rid of them its your own damn fault"... or something along those lines. would that response be failing this shit test?

or should i just keep them along with the rest of her gift? Just hold onto it all till before the show, and if she asks just give them to her? and if i give them to her should i charge her? or make it seem like I'm doing her a favor (or rewarding her) like, "glad you came to your senses (stopped acting so awful), here you go"

honestly right now I'm just thinking of selling them and just not caring (why should i anyway right?) and leaving it as a consequence of her acting so childish, the only problem with that is if i don't bring it up that the reason its gone was she threw a temper tantrum like a child and returned the tickets she could have still went, she will 150% in her mind and her friends etc... place it on me as if I forced her to give them back to me. which may start some shit in our shared circle of friends.....

any thoughts? mainly dealing with the action I take now and how to react in the future when it will 100% come up.

and how do you handle returned gifts anyway? re-gift to someone else? lol
