Hello all,
I'm fairly new to RP, started reading obsessively a few weeks ago, and since I've become very motivated to get out and date/ fulfill my long neglected sexual needs.
What I've noticed, however, is that I have a date practically every night. This means that I'm not reading, I'm not working on my hobbies, I'm not really developing or moving forward as a person.
So, if the two ends of the spectrum are:
No dating - All of my time can be used for personal growth
100% dating - No time for personal growth
that would mean that there's a spectrum for time lost to plate spinning.
What has your experience been? Do you sometimes feel that you have too many plates? Too few? Have any of you gone at 100% dating for a long time? If so, what's that experience been like? Any regrets? Is this a danger for a man in that it may leave him with less SMV than possible as he approaches the wall and may consider settling down to start a family?
Edit: I appreciate your "do what you want" mentality, guys, but I'm looking for input on your personal opinion on plate time to personal time ratio. I can't see the future, I don't know whether I'm putting enough time into me to maintain/ continue building SMV. I mean, I'm only 23. I don't exactly have a wealth of life experience and wisdom.
