I'm in a LTR atm and recently mentioned "post sex" (such a dangerous time) that I got this new video game.
She showed surprising enthusiasm for it and mentioned she had played some games herself in the past.
Anyway, the point is it became something of a thing which she brings up. "how's that game going" even googling certain details about it. Although nothing has occurred yet on the surface, i'm almost convinced this hobby of mine could potentially do great damage to my perceived SMV.
Don't get me wrong, i enjoy a good game now and then but hobbies like these just aren't associated with successful people. I can't imagine Chad playing an RPG.
So I intend to play it off as though i never really have time for games anymore. Suggest i get them for my younger brother or something. Am I overthinking it or preventing a negative association being created? Do you think it wise to keep certain hobbies to yourself also?
