traveled together with the ex and our other kids to drop our eldest off - relatively uneventful but only because I made it that way - i footed the bill for EVERYTHING except maybe two meals, she refused to see any of my family so that just added another burden to managing the whole thing. There were so many things I wanted to say but bit my lip - especially about this being about our eldest, not about her or us or whatever. Anyway, kid is settling in well and the correctness of the divorce decision was reinforced throughout the experience!
