I think muscle imbalances need to be talked about more, and I think the advice/experience need to be more clear from some people on here.

Take me for example. I have a right arm which is weaker than my left. I have trouble pinning down my right scapula with my serratus anterior. I am able to, but everytime I go to bench lets say, I have to roll my shoulder muscles back, plug my shoulder into the bench so it doesn't roll back up, and lift. Meanwhile, my front is tight (chest neck)

My question is, is it smart to do barbell lifting even tho one is weaker than the other? Will they just catch up? Because I am doing unilateral movements for the moment (single leg deadlifts, single arm bench, single arm row as to make them catch up per se)

Or is it a matter of how much weaker it is? If it is only a little weaker will it just catch up with barbell movements? Really need some input here.

also, not making excuses, I am lifting folks. I want educated responses if possible lol

Thank so much guys
