I'm a musician. I play guitar, drums, bass, any instrument you can give me, I can shit out some notes. I used to play in bands but I moved on from all of that.
So I was talking to my uncle about recording one day. He's a guitarist. And he was asking me a lot of questions about the details of recording, and I new a lot more than I thought I did. I was surprised at myself with the amount of knowledge I possess.
I've worked at jobs that I hated. I was a welder, plumber, stocker, cook, you name it, I've done it. But now I know exactly what I want to do in my life. I want to be an audio engineer/producer. I also have other aspirations. I took a tour in news television and seeing all of the equipment, and I new how it all works. Editing, photography, and directing. All this is up my alley. This stuff is fun to me. It doesn't feel like I'm actually working.
Ever since I've become clear in my goals, my confidence has skyrocketed. I can talk to multiple women and not be beta. Im more disciplined and descisive than I used to be. I don't have anxiety issues anymore. And the most important thing, for the first time in a long time, I am content with who I am as a person. I used to care way too much about what people think of me. Now, I've learned to relax thanx to my conviction that I have for my new goals.
Is this what TRP is all about? Because it seems that when I found my "Calling", all my problems just seemed to go away. What are your thoughts? If a man finds what he was meant to do in this life, does he have the power to take the chip off his own shoulders? Is that the goal of TRP for men?
