What act of appreciation do you do to show your SO you care?

Sometimes he'll be doing something awesome and I just think "okay, he needs a blow job like right now." I text him throughout the day to tell him I love him, use every opportunity I can to touch him/give him kisses. I put on (simple) makeup before I go to bed so I look cute when he comes home from work late at night. Write notes, cook him what he likes... and hoping to add more to my repertoire after reading this! ;)

May I ask how can someone just getting to know another person can do this? In the context of a relationship, I am willing to learn how to cook his favorite dish from scratch, do his laundry, wash the dishes, etc. like I do for my family when they need me to. Besides showing respect by putting away your phone and paying attention during dates like a decent person, how else can one step up their girl game?

I don't think what I do can be summed up in one act. I really like this thread and intent behind it I wanted to try and condense as much as possible.

A bit of history. BetterHalf and I have been together in a committed monogamous LTR for almost 6 years. We do not live together so this impairs a few things but view the hunt to find ways an enjoyable challenge:

Every time we are out I dress for him with the same time and attention as if I was 'attracting' him. He has noticed this and says at times he feels a but under dressed but I tell him doesn't need need the work to look amazing. He just is. There's been a quite a few times he has complimented my choices in apparel and appearance. He notices. I love it :) He will also flat out tell me if I send him a picture of something I'm considering getting and he doesn't like it. I really treasure that trust of an honest opinion. I make it known I am NOT offended in the least.
I text/chat with him often, but sometimes during the day I just give him a note or a more ahem 'visual aid' that I am thinking of him. This helps make up for days we are not together and I can't just randomly give a kiss on the cheek as we continue about our own jobs and such. I admit to also giving the 'visual aids' to his phone while we are out together and walking back as his phone gets them just to see the look on his face when he sees them. The times we are at the bar is pretty perfect for that. He can't react very openly because of his jobs/gigs. But I can see it, and I know I'm in for it as soon as it's more private.
The answer is yes. I don't care what it is, what I have to do to make it happen or what I have to push off my plate to do so. It's yes, normally before the request is out of his mouth. If he asks to see me even for mere minutes and I have to drive half an hour, done. Five minutes or five hours.. length of time doesn't equate. Reason doesn't factor. Sometimes he needs an errand done for a show, one time it was to take his dog out because he was laid up sick. I stayed to clean up the house a bit and care for him as well. The answer is always YES.
Rose tag: I added this because I get asked about this one. Rose tag is a game played at Renaissance faires. There are girls walking around and they sell roses. You buy from them and they deliver to the person you want, even with messages. We've gotten pretty silly with it and even try to outwit the other by buying the last red one (colors are important) or other fiendish games. Most of the girls are our friends so they love it. We have done this for 6 years and he is up by three. My vengeance will be soon.
I write, a lot..shocker. I write to him and about him. He refers to it as poetry I refer to it as random rants that occasionally rhyme. I have also written short stories (yes, some erotica) and on a sudden impulse of the inspiration I wrote a fight scene from a historical fiction type work that was based on characters we had come up with in our past and realized if they came together they it would be very interesting. Almost shaking in nerves I handed it to him. He absolutely loved it. I've been writing the rest of the chapters ever since. He brainstorms, I take notes and research the time frame. Since i have no wish to overwhelm I also write in a composition book in order to just get things out of my head when I do miss him. I don't hide it but I'd rather him only see if he wants. I worry about overwhelming. A lot.
I serve him. This one gets me in 'trouble'. This is the action that others see and it raises eyebrows. I don't make a big production of it. If anything I'm good at 'being in the background'. When he is on stage I always have water for him. If he nods I bring it forward. When he steps off I have a fresh one ready and just slip in his hand, take the empty one as he does the rounds to greet people. When he is at other gigs I make sure if I am getting something I will get for him if he needs. IE a Jamison or whatever.
I try to provide comfort in the form of massage, dance and other means. Music is a vital and fascinating part of our relationship. I have introduced him to the more tribal sounds of Dead Can Dance, BSG soundtrack and Loreena McKennitt. He still can't listen to Pink Floyd - Set controls to the heart of the sun and Godsmack - Serenity without smiling..according to him :)

I do tend to be a bit formal. I embrace the 'Lady' in the feminine traits (at least in public). He sees this as warmth in devotion and I am ever grateful for that understanding. Ok.. that got long sighs Sorry.

In addition to cooking for him and pampering him when he comes home from work (I run a business from home), I make a point of regularly telling him how much I appreciate him. Especially when he has pulled a double and is really tired.

Cooking, blow jobs, asking him about his day...ah shit you guys got me beat. Both of us share the chores, I pay for most of the stuff we do together and help him with any writing he may have to do, since I'm a pretty good writer.

I think Dave Chappelle commented on this very thing. He asked why are there so many magazine articles...written by other women...with "100 ways to please your man." He said that you only need to do four things to please your man. Suck his dick, play with his balls, make him a sandwich and not talk so much.

I tell him how much I love him each day and how wonderful he is. If he was much of a breakfast eater I'd get up and make it for him. But that's not his thing. So I pack his lunch for work and give him kisses/cuddles before he leaves. I tend to the house and other domestic things while he's at work and have a hot dinner waiting for him each night. We have a lot of shared interests so it makes it easy to find things to do together.

We work together from home so we are together 24/7. I don't really consider everyday chores, cooking and cleaning anything I do for him per say so I try to express my love and appreciation for him as often as I can; a kiss when I serve his beverages and meals, a surprise sit on his lap with a tight hug and kiss, a wink, a warm smile; just keeping a pleasant disposition and a good sense of humor goes a long way too. Foot rubs, massages (although I seem to be getting more of these than giving them lately, oopsy!!) and cuddling up to him holding hands while watching tv.
