I'm curious to see what is everybody's opinion on whether having daddy issues is an unfortunate permanent state or is possible to get rid of?

"Daddy Issues" is a catch-all term. If you loved your daddy dearly, then that's one kind of daddy issue. If you hated your father, that's a different kind of daddy issue. If your father wasn't there, then that means you have daddy issues too. Basically, if you exist, and you're a girl, you are going to have some kind of "daddy issue". It doesn't really mean anything in particular, but that's intentional because it just means that your relationship with your father is going to have some effect on how you interact with, and have relationships with, other men. The important thing is that you don't allow your particular brand of daddy issues interfere with your relationships, and whether or not they do depends on what kind of daddy issues you have and how you let them effect your behavior.

Hmm whilst I realise there are daddy issues in women I think it's how the woman allows that issue to control her.

Some become so twisted and entwined in desperately getting male attention that they jump on any cock.

However some women do use this as a way to ensure their lives never turn out like this and use it productively to find a well suitable mate and work on never becoming like that. The reason I say this is because of my relationship with my father was horrible. I made a promise to myself at 16 that I would end the legacy here and now. I think it made me stronger as a rp woman to ensure it didn't continue those issues and bring them along for a ride in my life

Your opinions conflict with my real world experiences of what women with "mommy issues" and "daddy issues" are like.
