I saw someone posted about this a while ago and it prompted me to watch it. FYI it hasn't dropped on Netflix in the US yet but you can buy it on Amazon.

As someone who has been gaslit, lied to, verbally/emotionally abused and cheated on by a narc, I can say this seriously gripped me. I still can't stop thinking about it. I have let a man drive me to psychological and emotional hell and am so thankful to be out of that soul-crushing cycle. Stories like this (and you ladies) are perfect reminders of why we're all here. Betty and Linda's behavior is literally an FDS what-not-to-do playbook: avoid LVM, don't build a man, don't devalue yourself by getting involved with taken men, refuse to center your lives around a man, protect yourself financially etc. Not following these principles and respecting yourself enough to do so is literally dangerous.

Anyways, if anyone has seen it i'd love to talk about your thoughts. And for those of you who haven't, I highly recommend watching it. I don't condone murder, but I have to say that the saying "behind every crazy woman is a man who made her that way" is 10000% true. Team Betty all the way. I can't stop wondering how things would have panned out if she and Linda had any semblance of FDS ideals back then.
