Seriously, this cop out needs to end. Woman love to hide behind this excuse entirely too much as if men are not sold on something similar. Think about all of the best movies, T.V. series, and classic novels that you have experienced in your life. While they all present handsome and elite men who will do anything for a woman, they also show a woman who appreciates and loves that man for everything that he does for her.

This is where nice guy syndrome really comes from.

That very convenient narrative leaves out that women have a ton of suiters, and that she is talking to most of them, and is only seriously considering a couple of them ( the most handsome or elite of them) and everyone else is just there for validation.

So no, she is not thinking about all of the times you talked to her about her break ups. She doesn't think about the times when you helped her move, and no she doesn't care if you helped her with her calc homework when she is with her new guy.

While the insatiable woman may be the biggest dream sold to men these days; the loving, loyal, and appreciative woman is a close second.

Also, when asked about why her relationship ended with an "average guy" she stated that it was because he was an "idiot" which I just thought was funny.
