I am a 25 years old woman in a happy relationship with a 48 years old married man. We have great chemistry. He is unhappy with his marriage and says his wife doesn't love him and that he was thinking of divorce even before he met me. However, I find this very stressful. First of all, I have no income of my own and very little working experience. I am supported by my parents and I am still a student. I find it very scary to leave my parents house essentially for the first time in order to be financially supported by a man. Second of all he and his wife have a 10 years old kid. I fear that his kid will resent me for "destroying her family" and that his relatives and friends will blame me too even though he was already thinking about divorce before he met me. Thirdly, there is a big age difference between us and even though I have no problem with it, his friends might think it is weird and his friends' wives might resent me for being a "younger homewrecker". Fourthly, our personalities are extremely different, he is the hard-working and responsible type and also a bit of a control freak, while deep down I'm lazy and not a very down-to-earth type of person. I'm afraid that as time passes our differences might create problems and he might regret leaving his wife for me.

I wanted to post this here because a)everywhere else on reddit, people would morally condemn me for dating a married man while this sub is amoral, b) I sympathize with TRP theory and I have actually discussed some RP concepts with him, like that it's important for the man to havw the upper hand in a relationship, c)I wanted to hear the male perspective.
