I have been on Tinder for quite a long time without any success.

I kinda gave up on it actually, until this match messaged me first, which is highly unusual. She started with "hey".

All her chats since then are just short short responses.

I asked what her plans were for the holidays, and she said: "nothing much, just working..."

I suggested we do something exciting the next day. She never replied. Then several weeks later, she sent another "hey" message. I requested her Instagram which she gave, and we've chatted a little bit on Instagram. However, her really short responses just make me confused.

Yesterday, I sent her the following message:

Me: "Hey, let's spend time together sometime; let's hangout. Are you single?"

Her: "Yea I'm single"

I'm honestly concerned about her really short and unclear messages. Like, I'm not sure if she really wants to meet or just one of those girls who are just looking to waste people's time.

I did a little spying on her facebook profile and saw that she updated her relationship status to "in a relationship" in October 2018. But now, the status is single, so maybe she didn't last with that person.

What do you guys suggest? I'm really inexperienced so to speak.
