Most scarcity I would say, some conditioning. I think I had it the worst my first years in college, thinking women were some magical creature and then seeing every 'good woman' around me get drunk and do fucked up acts at parties. It took a while to sink in, but years and years of the same patterns eventually convinced me they're all whores until proven otherwise.

Edit: to clarify, in college my mom asked me why I didn't have a girlfriend and I told her I had 'options' but wasn't really interested in anything. Well she flipped out, where as I told my dad the same thing and he gave me a pat on the back instead. I was instantly disgusted by the sluts who got passed around and would only really fuck with quality women with low counts. I would say as of late what's different is, I'll fuck regardless but won't upgrade due to count.

Scarcity mindset because most men simply do not know how to "generally" be attractive in every possible way. If you barely have options of course you subconsciously want to lock that option down.

Went to the gym today and saw some Asian guy being a little pet to an overweight American girl who was obviously not interested in him. He cleaned after her, how's her with everything and dunno what else he did but fuck. A part of me just wanted to get mad at him for even pedestalizing her (she was like a 2-3 or something, while that guy was like a 4 maybe 5).

I was bad for this. Can't understand why anymore. I guess I always had my perspective wrong. Tried talkin to a friend about this girl he was obsessed with. He was convinced she was into him because she wanted him to follow her snap, insta... All I said was "she's testing ya." Dude went into beta overdrive. "should I call her? Text her?" Tried tellin him dial it back, but he was sure she was into him. Blew her phone up and secured his place in the friendzone. Poor bastardized still follows her like she'll give into her desire for him, as though she ever had any.

Idealogical reasons. My friend had a 16-18 year old gf from when he was 18-20. Slim, blonde, good looking. Ever since then he has been chasing this dream that he will somehow find a girl as good as his memories of her. I now don't hang around with him because all he wants to do is go to the same bar and see this blonde, 18 year old barmaid for which he is a massive orbiter. Otherwise a confident guy but this crutch has made him insufferable.

For me it is the idea that meeting someone and being with them happily until the end of your days is actually possible. Now you either pretend/believe that is still the case and dive in or realise it's not and go Redpill/mgtow.
