"spinning plates" isn't necessarily about sex. There's nothing in TRP that says you have to have sex with 50 girls a week. You can do an LTR if you like.

Spinning plates is more about avoiding the trap that many males fall into where they get a single number and get their hopes up over that one girl. You should be "spinning a lot of plates" or if you don't like that term, you should "have more than one iron in the fire" while you're looking for a girl so that it's not such a let down when one or two (or ten) flake out on you.

You have to talk to several girls to get a number. You have to get a lot of numbers before one will reliably meet up with you. You have to meet up (I don't bother saying "date" anymore) with several before you manage to fuck one. You have to fuck a few before you find one that you like. You should have more than one that you like to choose from so that you can choose a good, quality girl.

That is spinning plates. It's not necessarily having two or three FWB arrangements simultaneously.

Spinning plates is as opposed to what many guys do. "zomg I got a number!! I can't wait until the weekend, when I plan to take her to an expensive restaurant where she will see that I'm a great guy and totally love me!!" (later) "she was probably too busy to return my text but I'll try again next week, oh boy, oh boy!!" (later) "she's a quality girl so she's worth the wait. We're facebook friends now so I've been liking her photos, soon she'll see that I'm interested in her!!"

How I managed this was by treating everything as transactional.

At times you will also need to provide some plausible deniability i.e. ask her to come over and bring da movies so she won't feel overly used.

If you're a feelings and commitment kind of guy, get in a relationship with one you have feelings for. You can use TRP principles to build a healthy, satisfying relationship with one of them.
